Best Book Lounge @ Shenzhen Biennale 2011
The most interesting and surprising Dutch art, design and architecture books have been brought together in the Best Book Lounge presentation at the first days of the Shenzhen Biennale from 8 to 11 December 2011.
The Best Book Lounge has been designed by the Beijing based architects HHD_ Fun and was part of the DutchDFA programme at the 2011 edition of Beijing Design Week, the Shanghai Creative Industry Week as well as the 18th Beijing International Book Fair.
More than 120 books are presented in Shenzhen, showing the works of well-known artists, designers and architects from the Netherlands and serving as an illustration of the best in Dutch book design.
The books were kindly provided by the Fonds BKVB. Every year this Netherlands Foundation for visual arts, design and architecture subsidises about 50 publications on and about artists, designers and architects.
