GastGastgeberSTORE

The GastGastgeberSTORE at Zollverein in Essen offered a special collection of Dutch design products, including tableware by Koninklijke Tichelaar, VLISCO fabrics, vases by Jo Meesters and Piet Hein Eek baskets. 

Curator Judith ter Haar based the collection of the shop on her vision on recycling, the main theme of RUHR.2010. The interior of the shop was designed by Rogier Martens, winner of the design competition organized by the Dutch Associations for Designers (BNO) and Interior Architects (BNI).

A mobile version of the store popped up offering a wide variety of Dutch design goodies to visitors of RUHR.2010 in different locations in the Ruhr area, like the Brachen Siedlung festival in the last weekend of September.
