Designyatra 2011

Kyoorius Designyatra is an annual international design conference on 9 and 10 September, this year at the Grand Hyatt in Goa. The programme includes lectures from acclaimed international design professionals like Richard Holman (Devilfish) and Johnny Vulkan (Anomaly, NY). Dutch participants supprted by the DutchDFA programme include book designer Irma Boom, Donald Beekman (Typeradio) , Liza Enebis (Typeradio, Studio Dumbar), Raw Color and Novi Rahman.

The conference celebrates design excellence, provides insights into the future of brand and visual communications while simultaneously bringing together the design and corporate community in India. The conference has been attended by a cumulative audience of more than 8500 people from all over India and around the world. The participation of Dutch designers at DesignYatra 2011 is supported by the DutchDFA programme.

Workshops

TU Delft will give an Indo-Dutch Workshop on Design Education to think about a framework on design education in India. Roel Stavorinus and Anne Bloemendaal will also give workshops about the business of design and design management.

Designyatra 2011 Special Dutch Package 

The regular price for a conference ticket is 250 Euro, but Designyatra offers a special rate of 150 Euro for Dutch design progressionals wishing to attend the event. The special package includes lunch at the conference. 

The room rates per night at the Grand Hyatt Bambolim Beach in Goa include breakfast, dinner and airport transfers.

Single Occupancy: 140 Euro per night 

Double Occupancy: 175 Euro per night 

Triple Occupancy: 230 Euro per night
