Video fashion show
Press release:
GARCIA JEANS is the first brand in the fashion industry worldwide to make use of the highly innovative video technique TimeSlice, also known as BulletTime, a kind of filming that produces the most amazing images!
De Maassilo in Rotterdam was the venue for the Garcia Fall Winter 2012 Fashion Show. The show was recorded in a quite unique way. Thirty GoPro HD cameras were used, fixed to a specially designed rig. Together with Clipforce Webvideo Productions, Garcia Jeans created this set-up to film the entire fashion show in de Maassilo.
This innovative technique enables a video image to be ‘recorded’ and then shot around the model using the thirty cameras. This gives the viewer a unique matrix effect, also known as the bullet-time effect. In this way Garcia Jeans invites the viewer to enjoy the show from the middle of the catwalk, a really unique experience with plenty of wow effect!
The platform with cameras is impressive to see. GARCIA JEANS is the first brand in the fashion industry worldwide to make use of the highly innovative method of filming. The bullet-time effect can be seen in the Garcia Movies.
