DDA @ Istanbul Book Fair
The 30th edition of the Istanbul Book Fair included a selection of Dutch Profiles videos on icons of Dutch design. The Istanbul Book Fair took place from 12 to 20 November at the TÜYAP Fair and Convention Center, Beylikdüzü. The Dutch Profiles were on display from 12 to 15 November at the International Hall.
Istanbul Book Fair showed the following Dutch Profiles: Joost Swarte, Dick Buna, Joost Grootens, Irma Boom, Wim Crouwel, Thonik, Piet Paris, Ren Koolhaas, Michael van Gessel, Droog Design, Mels Crouwel, Tichelaar.
Istanbul Book Fair Turns 30 and Goes International
Since November 1982 when the first book fair was held with the participation of 28 publishers, TÜYAP has proudly brought together millions of readers, writers, publishers, poets, editors, scholars, translators, academics and other stakeholders of the industry, weaving a truly multicolored fabric. In its 30th year, the Istanbul Book Fair has deserved to become the international specialist fair of Turkey.
An International Hall that was available for visiting at the 30th International Istanbul Book Fair between November 12 and 15, hosting publishers, rights management companies and national pavilions of more than 30 countries. During this time, 35 professional and sectoral events were held at the International Hall.
